A planner for renewing your vows Every plan is free during preview
Swear Again

Together, and every year since,

Say it again,
and mean it more.

Swear Again helps the two of you renew your vows: write the words you could not have written on the first day, run a small ceremony to the minute, and keep each other's vows sealed until you say them.

Start a Renewal Book or write your vows first

The order of things

Four parts, in the order a renewal needs them.

Each part works on its own and costs nothing to use. The Renewal Book ties them together at one private link.

  1. First

    The Vow Studio

Twelve prompts in four movements (Then, Since, Now, Next) and up to five promises. Your words, put together, timed for speaking, laid out as a reading card.

  2. Second

    The Ceremony Runner

Choose the parts, set the minutes and a start time. Get a run sheet that adds up to the minute and an order of service to print.

  3. Third

    Sealed Vows

Each of you writes on your own link. Neither can read the other's words until both are sealed and the day arrives, or you both agree to open early.

  4. Then, every year

    Anniversary Math

Years, months and days married; your next anniversary and its weekday; the 10,000th day; a calendar file for all of it.

Sealed Vows

Kept from each other until the moment you say them.

  1. Each of you claims a side from your Renewal Book and gets a private vow link of your own.
  2. Write, save, seal. The Book shows only that a side is sealed, its length and its spoken time.
  3. Opened together. When both sides are sealed and the renewal day begins, or when you both agree to open early, both vows appear.

Vow text is stored encrypted. Nobody using the site, the Book link included, can read a sealed side early, and while a side is sealed the renewal date is locked. A lost side that is still a draft can be reset, which destroys it unread.

A promise a year

After the ceremony the Book keeps going: on each anniversary, each of you adds one line.

  1. 2026

"I promise to keep Saturday mornings for us."

    Ruth
  2. 2027

"I promise to finally learn to make your mother's soup."

    Daniel
  3. 2028

"We promise one trip a year, even a small one."

    Both

An example. Your promises are yours alone and are stored encrypted.

Every detail of the plans

Plainly

Is a vow renewal a legal ceremony?
No. It is a celebration of a marriage you already have. It does not create or change a marriage, so you need no license, and anyone you choose can lead it: a friend, a family member, a celebrant, or the two of you.
Do we need an account?
No account and no email. Your Renewal Book lives at a private link; keep it somewhere safe, because we cannot look it up for you.
Who can read our vows?
On the site, only the person holding that side's vow link, until both sides are opened. Then both of you, from the Book. No person here reads them.
